I love the colors, the landscape and also the characters. And one of them is a filmmaker i am very fond of: mister Hulot and his famous bike. His movies could be understood by anyone even and especially if you don't speak French! ;-) Sometimes Mister Hulot mutter to himself and sometimes not.
In Jour de Fête, his friends are always teasing him about to do like the American postmen: he needs to work fast as usual but he is so headless and so creative that he is inventing a new way of being a postman on a bike.
