the new movie by a master for some, not really for me.
i was looking forward to seeing his new movie about another master of history: edgar hoover.
i read a book about him written by a french writer, marc dugain 'la malédiction d'edgar', based on the memories of clyde olson, number 2 of the FBI and partner of edgar hoover in private life. clyde olson is the narrator of the book but marc dugain explained in the prologue that this book could be a fake.
anyway the book is awesome and the clint eastwood's movie not.
the movie doesn't highlight the story of this guy who has spent 47 pursuing the corruption, communists…
i am not very fond of leonardo dicaprio but i admit he is very good even if emotions miss him as usual.
i liked the living energy of armie hammer who plays clyde olson.
